Drainage improvements to the existing fields is the focus of this project. Working with the Army Corps of Engineers and the Town of Boone, it is anticipated that this project will utilize spoils from the stream improvements being undertaken by the Army Corps of Engineers. Construction depends on the schedule for the stream project, but is anticipated to occur Summer 2014.

This project will install new sprinkler system throughout the residence hall. Construction will begin May 2014 and be completed over the Summer of 2014. Clancy + Theys is the contractor. Clancy +Theys was the low bidder with a bid of $550,576. The total project budget is $735,617. Preliminary work has already begun, but when the students vacate the building in May, construction will commence full bore. LS3P is the architect of record.
Conversion from the existing soccer field to a field hockey field is underway. The low bidder was Construction Sports Associates with a bid of $1,425,000. The total project budget is $1,500,000. The project began construction in Fall 2013, but the weather delayed completion. Construction activities will restart April 2014 and be completed Summer 2014. CHA Consulting is the designer of record.
This project includes energy savings improvements to multiple campus facilities, including lighting replacements, fume hood replacements, HVAC efficiencies, and a new data center for the campus. This project is underway and will continue until Summer 2015.
